Reading Strategy Launch

Ms Chantal Petersen, Senior Education Specialist for the Metro South Education District, invited LTL to collaborate with them.

The collaboration involved setting up a joint reading corner at the Western Cape Education Reading Strategy Launch on 14 March 2020. Prior to this event, a meeting was held between ourselves, Ms Petersen, Ms Williams (who is the Deputy Chief Education Specialist), and three other colleagues from the education department, including ECD, foundation and senior phase. We showed them our curriculum and pictures of our classrooms with all our resources and accessories, and they were pleasantly surprised to learn about our organisation and the beneficial work that we do.
