LTL celebrated World Read Aloud Day in partnership with Coronation Fund Managers. This event took place in the three Capsule Schools which includes Sonwabo Primary, St Augustine Primary and Vergenoegd Primary.

For half an hour between 08:30 and 09:00 all the foundation phase learners were reading the same storybook to encourage the reading culture at the schools. The educators had bunny ears and tails on as props to make the character of the story come to life and to show the learners that it is fun and exciting to read.

Coronation Fund Managers also sent two volunteers to St Augustine Primary School to read to the learners.
Everyone really enjoyed the morning and each learner received an apple to enjoy as a snack.
